The windows installer service cannot update one or more protected windows
Did you guys have this kind of problem? There is a simple solution for this. I've try using Windows XP with MS office 2007. Step for solution is as per below HOW TO FIX: 1.) Extract fp4autl.dll from 1386 [folder] -> FP40EXT.CAB [archive] inside your Windows XP disk. Copy it 2.) Put it in this directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\40\bin 3.) Install your Microsoft Office program 4.) Be Happy Please comment your experience when dealing with other OS and other version of MS Office Good Luck!
